President and bankroller of New Edubiase, Abdul Salam Yakubu have finally admitted that New Edubiase will be relegated after losing to Wa All Stars in the match day 26 fixture in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The president in previous interviews was highly optimistic that they will not be relegated despite having a torrid campaign.
After 26 matches played the, the Bekwai based club are at the 16th position with 25 points.
Speaking to Asempa Sports, Abdul said, “It is now very difficult for us because if we should have won against Wa All Stars, then I will be very optimistic that we will not be relegated.
“With our position and with the remaining matches, I will say will be relegated because it has not being easy for us a club.” Salam added.
Edubiase will play away to Inter Allies in the Match Day 27 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
