Our Team drew with Muaither 2:2 in the match held in Thani bin Jassim Stadium in QSL Round 16.
Rashid Sumaila and Kookyoung Han netted for our team in minutes 39 and 41 and on the other hand, Bruno Aguero successfully converted a penalty in the 57th minute and Nasser Ibrahim levelled the score line for Muaither in the minute 72.
The two teams swapped domination over the game where Al-Gharafa controlled the first half with a two-goal advantage but Muaither had the upper hand in the second half as they succeeded in levelling the result and were about to score the winning goal at the last moments of the match.
This result raised our points to 27 to sit fifth in QSL standings and Muaither to 11 but still pinned to the bottom of the table.
