The Black Queens have been nominated for the Women's National team of the year at the 2016 GLO CAF Awards.
Ghana was named among four other National team’s that excelled in the year 2016.
The Black Queens faces stiff competition from reigning African Women's Champions Nigeria, Cameroon as well as South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The Queens earned the nomination after finishing third at this year's African Women's Championship in Cameroon.
