Team manager of the national under-17 team, the Black Starlets, Samuel Aboabire was involved in a fatal car crush on the Ashalley Botwe- Aviation road on Saturday evening.
The team manager of the Starlets car tyre burst and lost control hitting the oncoming car. He was rushed to the Alpha Clinic at Madina Estates where he had initial treatment before transferred to the 37 Military Hospital.
Aboabire is popularly known as Qatar in the football fraternity and has been with the under-17 for the past four years.
He was with the team in Gabon that placed second at the Africa Junior Championship.
