Black Stars B goalkeeper Felix Annan has assured Ghanaians they will put the disappointment of missing out on CHAN 2018 to win the WAFU tournament which begins this weekend.

The Black Stars B missed out on Kenya 2018 after falling to the sword of Burkina Faso in the Championship of African Nations qualifier in Kumasi last month.

Many Ghanaian fans were heart broken and vowed not to give their support to the team. However, the Kumasi Asante Kotoko shot stopper says they are aware of the disappointment caused and will make sure they win the West Africa Football Union championship to appease the fans.

“We knew we have disappointed Ghanaians for not been able to qualify for the 2018 CHAN Tournament, this was not what we are all expected but it happened,” the Asante Kotoko goalie told footballmadeinghana.com

“I believe we shall go all out in this second chance we have gotten to participate in the WAFU Tournament. We shall do everything possible to make Ghanaians happy."

“I believe preparations have been very good and attitude in camp has also been perfect. Everybody will give his maximum best for us to win the trophy,”

“Well, we will take it game after game and we shall win all starting with Gambia on Saturday."

Ghana will begin the WAFU championship campaign against the Gambia on Saturday at the Essipong stadium.
