Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Mamadou Sakho will start against Man City tomorrow, and says he can see why Eagles fans love him.
"We've got a large squad to choose from. Everyone made it through Tuesday unscathed. The centre of defence has been reasonably strong and Sakho is fit to start and will do on Saturday," he said in a pre-match press conference.
"Sakho was very good and I'd heard some positive things about him and I can understand why he's a favourite with the Selhurst fans."
