DISGRACE: Nigeria's U23 side bonuses unpaid, players wash and wear training kit
Dream Team have not been paid their bonuses and are without training kit

Nigeria's U23 players have not been paid their bonuses and they have to wash and wear their training kits in a scandalous neglect of the Dream Team by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), coach Samson Siasia has revealed.

In a shocking revelation, the side preparing to play in the 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations to grab a ticket of the Olympic Games in Brazil next year, only 10 players have reported for training because of the neglect.

Siasia says the NFF is treating the side like 'orphans' as the federation led by Amaju Pinnick has failed to provide them with training kits with bonuses and allowances still unpaid despite qualifying for the tournament.

”They appoint coaches and fire them when they want. I need to grant interviews the way I see fit because of the way things are. We are like orphans; the U-23 team,” Siasia fired.

"The don’t pay us even the bonuses after we qualified. We’ve not been paid our allowances.

"The home based Eagles played a draw, and got 2 thousand, and they keep saying they don’t have money.

"It took me so much courage to come out about this, but its embarrassing. We don't have training kits up till now we wash and wear."

Other national teams have been paid their bonuses and allowances.
