Emmanuel Lomotey win Dreams F C player of the season

Dreams F C midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has been named the Club’s player of the season after helping them gain promotion back to the Ghana Premier League.

Dreams regained promotion to the Premier League after topping Zone Three of the Division One League with 73 points just a season after they were demoted to the lower division.

Lomotey, who is a part of the Black Stars B was influential in the Dawu-based club’s quick return, having scored eight times and was crucial in some of the club’s tough games, including the 3-2 victory over Vision in Amrahia.

The midfielder takes home an amount of GHC 1000. The award ceremony was held in East Legon.

A citation read: ''The talented central midfielder played such a big part in helping the club to win the Zone Three title and book their ticket to next season’s Ghana Premier League.

''Lomotey was the point of reference in most of Dreams FC’S tough games which included a one-man show against Vision FC in Amrahia and Nania FC at Legon.

''The gangling midfielder who netted eight goals in the campaign was voted ahead of experienced striker Eric Gawu for the prestigious award by his teammates.

''Lomotey was not present at the occasion as he is with the Black Stars B team in the ongoing WAFU Tournament.''
