FIFA has warned England's Football Association (FA) for "political chants" made by fans during Wednesday's World Cup semifinal defeat to Croatia.
The tournament organisers opened disciplinary proceedings on Thursday, but the details of the allegations were not disclosed.
FIFA said in a statement: "The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has warned The Football Association with respect to the misconduct of a group of English fans who performed political chants during the 2018 FIFA World Cup semi-final match between Croatia and England (cf. art. 67 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code).
"The decision was taken after having analysed the respective evidence available and considered all factors surrounding the infringement, including the fact that the incident was triggered by a very small group of fans."

FIFA also announced it was fining the FA 70,000 Swiss francs (£53,000) and issuing a warning for "breaching the Media and Marketing Regulations and the FIFA Equipment Regulations.
The statement added: "In particular, two members of the English national team displayed unauthorised commercial branding on playing equipment items during the above-mentioned match."
FIFA had previously sanctioned the FA for a similar incident involving more players earlier in the tournament.
England lost 2-1 in only their second World Cup semifinal since they won the tournament in 1966 on home soil, with Croatia going on to face France in the final on Sunday.
