Former Kotoko Chief Dr. KK Sarpong visits injured Kotoko players

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko general manager Dr. K.K Sarpong visited the injured players from last Wednesday’s accident on Saturday.

The players who were being crossed examined were humbled by the visit of the now Chief executive officer of Ghana National Petroleum (GNPC).

Dr. K.K Sarpong asked the players to remain strong and consoled them after losing their equipment officer, Mr. Obeng Asare.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko were involved in a horrific accident on Wednesday on their return from a Premier League game in Accra against Inter Allies.

The accident claimed the life of their equipment officer leaving several of the players injured.

The Porcupine Warriors have however been excused from this weekend’s premier league game against arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
