Ghanaian player Sani Dey has signed his first professional contract with Canada's second division side Burlington SC.

The 19-year old  who is a former student of Labone Secondary School impressed the coach of the club last season, hence the new contract.

Fresh from also emerging top scorer for Ontario U21 Provincial League South side, Erin Mills Soccer Club and second top scorer overall in the academy league with 14 goals in 10 games, Dey transferred to Burlington SC last week on an initial one-year contract as he takes steps up in pursuit of his careers goals, chief among them to play for the Ghana national team.

He is not one to waste time at all, assisting for one goal and winning a penalty for another even though his 10-man side lost 2-3 to Vorkuta last Saturday, barely days after he joined the club.
