Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda returns to Ghana squad for AFCON qualifier

AshantiGold goalkeeper Fatau Duada has returned to the Black Stars squad for Ghana’s 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mauritius following the absence of injured goalie Adam Kwaresey.

Duada was axed from the team for the Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique in March.

Dauda looked to have lost his position to Kwaresey but injury to the Portland Timbers goalkeeper forced him out of Avram Grant’s squad.

The former Orlando Pirates and Chippa United gloves-man lost the number one spot in the Black Stars team to Razak Brimah.
