Hearts winger Ollennu Ashitey edges closer to Kotoko move

Accra Hearts of Oak prodigy Ollennu Ashitey is close to making a move to Kumasi Asante Kotoko ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season. The 22-year-old fleet-footed winger, has been an outcast at the Accra based club with reports revealing that he has been released. Sources close to Footballghana.com however reveal that Olleenu Ashitey is currently in sports hotel in Kumasi and ready to sign for Asante Kototo. Nana Kwame Dankwah the newly elected GARCC chairman is reported to be the main brain behind this move.

 

Ollennu has blamed management of the Club for neglecting him after he sustained an injury whiles in action for the Club in the past and has since not gotten regular playing time with the Phobians.

Hearts of Oak are set to take on Kotoko in the GHALCA G6 preseason tournament on Sunday with both teams getting the chance to assess their new signings before the 2016/2017 season kicks off.
