"I’ll not fight for Kotoko job" - Michael Osei

Kumasi Asante Kotoko interim Coach Michael Osei says he is not in a haste to be appointed substantive coach of the club.

The former Edubiase Assistant Coach has supervised Kotoko to secure six wins in seven games after taking over from David Duncan, prompting calls on management of the club to hand him a permanent deal.

But the former striker of the porcupine warriors believes managers of the club will decide his fate at the right time.

“If they deny me for the coaching job, I won’t be worried because I have said several times that for me, I am waiting for the appropriate time and will do my best. I will not fight for it," he told Starr Sports.

"If management recommends me for doing well, then I am ready for it.”

Kotoko travel to play Wa All Stars in their 14th week Ghana Premier League fixture.
