Kumasi Asante Kotoko have signed Emanuel Gyamfi from Wa All Stars.

The 23-year-old striker appended his signature to a three-year contract on Monday afternoon at the Kotoko secretariat in Kumasi.

Present at the signing were General Manager, Opoku Nti and Accra Representative, Edmund Ackah and the player’s agent. The skillful attacker who also plays well as a winger is expected to give

interim head coach, Michael Osei options in the team’s attack, which has lately been docked by injuries.

Gyamfi was once a member of the national U-20 team, the Black Satellites who went to Turkey. Until his signing on Monday he had been training with Kotoko at Adako Jachie. With the team currently out of Kumasi for Wa ahead of Wednesday’s match day 13 league fixture against All Stars, Emmanuel Gyamfi will train with Kotoko's U-17 side until the team returns from Wa.
