Head of Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s medical team Dr. Michael Leat has cleared the players fit for the outstanding match against Accra Hearts of Oak, but winger Ollenu Ashitey won’t be ready for the game.

This will be the first competitive game the porcupine warriors will play after the terrible accident they suffered on the Nkawkaw road.

Several players got injured with the club losing their equipment officer. But, the players have undergone series of medical examinations and team doctor D. Leat indicated the team is ready for the Super Clash.

"Every player has to be ready for every game, the most important thing is the recovery they go through after the game," Leat said at a press conference on Tuesday.

''Every player is fit to play the game on Sunday and that Ollenu Ashitey is the only player out.''

Kotoko will play West Africa Football Academy in the next outstanding game before they play against Nea Salamina in the MTN FA Cup.
