Accra Hearts of Oak unimpressive home record continues as they lost 1-0 to Liberty Professionals at the Accra Stadium in a match-day 13 Ghana Premier League game at the Accra Stadium on Thursday.

Young forward Issah Shaibu's 18th minute strike was the difference as Kenichi Yatsuhashi men fell to their third defeat at home.

The Phobians started very well with last week's hero Cosmos Dauda with an opportunity to score but after rounding the goalkeeper the angle was too acute to find the back of the post.

That miss will prove costly with as Issah Mohammed got the only goal of the game to put Liberty ahead in the game on the 18th minute.

The results means Hearts of Oak remain second on the league log but just two goals behind leaders Wa All Stars

In the other game, New Edubiase recorded their third straight defeat as they lost 1-0 to Dreams FC at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Aaron Amoah scored the only goal of the game after heading home a Godfred Asante cross from right in the 63rd minute.

New Edubiase United are languishing bottom of the log after recording a fourth straight defeat.

They play Medeama SC on Sunday whereas Dreams FC host Hearts of Oak same day.
