MATCH REPORT: Liberty Professionals pip Great Olympics

Michael Osei recorded his first win in the Ghana Premier League as Coach of Liberty Professionals after narrowly beating regional rivals Accra Great Olympics.

Michael Ampadu‘s 40th minute goal was enough to hand the Dansoman based side all three points following a run of three games without a win.

Accra Great Olympics, playing at home dominated the opening exchanges but failed to create goal scoring opportunities.

Liberty Professionals, however, were resolute in defence but dangerous when they broke on attack.

One such incident led to midfielder Simon Zibo's goal bound effort gracing the upright post.

Great Olympics were caught ball watching when Michael Ampadu fired in from close range .

The win lifts the scientific soccer lads up on the table.

Meanwhile, the defeat means Accra Great Olympics drop into the relegation zone after losing two games on a row and conceding five goals.
