New Edubiase president Abdul Salam Yakubu says he is not interested in running his club again amid claims he lacks the financial power to do so.

Salam Yakubu has also noted that his side will not honour their match day 15 Ghana Premier League game against Medeama at the Tarkwa T and A park on Sunday.

The Bekwai-based side has been in financial turmoil since the death of their chief financier David Lamptey in 2012.

They have struggled to raise the needed funds for the home and away fixtures, with salaries of players unpaid for several months.

"I don't have enough funds to continue the ongoing Ghana Premier League so I have quit," he told Accra-based Happy FM

"I will not be at Tarkwa to play the last game against Medeama in this first round."

In January this year, the club's presidet revealed he will put the side up for sale because they are bankrupt.
