According to multiple sources in France on Sunday, midfield dynamo N’Golo Kante has decided to leave Leicester for Arsenal.

If true, the news will be a bitter blow for the Foxes. Indeed, Kante was voted their 2015-16 players’ player of the season.

Kante was brilliant this year. After arriving from Caen for a relatively small fee, the French midfielder never stopped running and produced some brilliant performances in front of The Foxes defence.

On Thursday, Kante was named in the France Euro 2016 squad by Didier Deschamps and having scored for Les Bleus against Russia in a recent friendly, it would be no surprise to see the midfielder begin the tournament in the starting XI.

French daily L’Equipe recently claimed that Man City could sign Kante, but the news on Sunday is that Arsenal are going to win the race.

Kante reportedly has a 25 million euro release clause in his Leicester contract.
