Al Sailiya will be looking to inflict more early season misery on Al Sadd on Friday evening. The Peregrines registered a fine opening day win against Al Arabi and will be targeting for more of the same. Head coach Sami Trabelsi spoke with the media ahead of the match.
Opening up the press conference, the Tunisian coach admitted that his team will have to be at their very best to get a result against Al Sadd. “We will have to be at full concentration against Al Sadd. Usually these games are special occasions, and we have to be ready for the challenge of Al Sadd, who will be looking to get their first victory.”
“I know that Al Sadd will react after their defeat to Markhiya. However for my side, we have to follow up on our good match against Al Arabi. We have to nullify the Al Sadd attack and fight right until the very end of the game” added Trabelsi when talking about Al Sadd.
Trabelsi ended the press conference insisting that confidence is high in the Sailiya camp. “Based on training over the week, the squad seems very confident but not too confident. Sailiya have won their opening game for the first time in their history and we have to build from the momentum.”
Al Sadd will be looking to put their shock opening day defeat to Al Markhiya behind then when they take on Sailiya at Al Arabi stadium on Friday evening. Head coach Jesulado Ferriera spoke with the local media ahead of the tie.
