Ghanaian player Samuel Boateng is targeting a win over Somoni on Wednesday in the Tajik second-tier league.

His side Kuktosh FC will be hoping to get a win to extend their lead on the league log.

Kuktosh FC are third on the log sheet with 28 points, two points adrift Vakhdat and one point adrift Somoni.

“I believe we have the quality to beat Somoni, they are not push overs because they are second on the league table,” Boateng told Ghanacrusader.com.

“We are playing at home and we have to take advantage of that, but irrespective of what they will do we will beat them because our aim is to go top of the table.”

The 19 year-old box-to-box midfeilder joined the Tajik side on a year deal from Ghanaian side Black Arrows FC.
