Our squad scored the fifth consecutive win when they beat Umm Salal 2:0 in the match held Wednesday’s evening in QSL Round 10. Johnson Kendrick and Abdul Ghani Muneer netted for the Cheetahs in minutes 58 and 69.
Our squad dominated most stages of the game especially in the second half when they scored the two winning goals. The second half saw the first appearance of the Cheetahs’ captain, Bilal Mohamed, after a long spell of injury.
This result raised our points tally to 20 to sit fourth in QSL table and left Umm Salal Sixth with 13 points.
