Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu scored his debut goal for loan club Bursaspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday evening.
Badu's 38th minute strike ensured the Green Crocodiles got off to a good start in their first home game of the new season with a 3-2 win over Alanyaspor.
Agyemang-Badu's influence continued to tell on the game when his well-laid pass into the path of an attacker resulted into a penalty for Bursaspor. Italian Pablo Martin Battala then stepped up and converted to make it 2-0 just a minute before the break.
Alanyaspor, who had fellow Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Sackey also playing full throttle just like Badu, staged a comeback and pulled level in a space of five minutes through Mbilla Etame and Vagner Love.
But Bursaspor managed to snatch the winner courtesy a 90th minute Dzon Delarge finish.
