Watch out for Elmina Sharks next season - Dr Nduom warns clubs
DR. PAPA KWESI NDUOM

Owner and bankroller of Elmina Sharks, Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum has warned premier league clubs to watch out for his side in next seasons's Ghana Premier League.

Sharks emerged winners in Zone Two of the GN Bank Division One League, hence their qualification to participate in next season's Top-flight.

"I will say Kotoko should watch out, with the inclusion of Hearts of Oak, Berekum Chelsea, Wa All Stars and other big clubs should all watch for us next season," he told Accra based radio station Asempa FM

“When the fearsome Elmina Sharks starts their premiership campaign, you will witness that soccer has arrived in the premier league properly.

“We want to make sure that we have players that paid very well and it will make them happy to be where they are. We want others to earn from the team as well. We want people to stop wearing the European jerseys and starts patronizing our club jerseys.

“If you go to other stadia’s that have been newly built, they don’t have certain features but we are putting in six private boxes that companies can rent them to entertain their customers there so there are a lot of things that we are putting in place.

“What we have seen in the European countries is what we are trying to do at our stadium because I don’t just travel to witness it but I want our people to profit from what we are doing.”
