Al Asmakh claimed the record for the biggest margin of victory in the eighth edition - a massive 16-0 win over Qatar Master. Meanwhile, Mowasalat’s Yakubu Al Hassan remained in the lead for the top-scorer title, after netting six times to take his incredible goal tally to 15 in two games.

In Group A, Nakheel Landscapes posted a big 12-0 win over HBK CRCC JV to go through to the Round of 16 with a game to spare. Aktor too progressed with a 3-0 win over 10-man Challenger.

Larsen & Toubro defeated Group B opponents Qatar Star Services 3-0, registering their second straight win and clean sheet to progress to the Round of 16. They join Al Asmakh, whose huge win over Qatar Master sets them up as one of the title favourites.

Trags Engineering picked up their first win in Group C, defeating GSS Certis 1-0 in a hard-fought game to book a spot in the knockout stage. The other match in the group saw Petroserv progress after a 2-2 draw with Teyseer Services Company Sodexo.
