AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd reach Tehran ahead of Persepolis clash

The Al-Sadd football team delegation safely reached Tehran at 9:30 PM (9 PM Doha time) on Sunday evening, ahead of the upcoming AFC Champions League semifinal second leg clash with Persepolis on Tuesday.

Upon arrival at the airport, the delegation was warmly welcomed by representatives of Persepolis.

In addition to team officials and staff, the Al-Sadd delegation consists of the following 19 players: Yasir Abubakar, Musab Kheder, Baghdad Bounedjah, Khoukhi Boualem, Salem Al-Hajri, Akram Afif, Meshaal Barsham, Jung Woo-young, Hamid Ismail, Hamza Al-Sanhaji, Pedro Miguel, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ahmed Sayyar, Ali Asad, Hassan Al-Haydos, Jehad Mohammed, Xavi Hernandez, Gabi Fernandez, Tarek Salman

The team then traveled to their designated hotel, Espinas Palace, where they had dinner before retiring to their respective rooms for the night. As per schedule, the players will now hold their lone pre-game training session at the Azadi Stadium from 6:30 PM (local time) onwards on Monday.

On a related note, the match coordination meeting will be held from 10 AM onwards on Monday, while the pre-game press conference will begin at 11:30 AM.
