AFC President expresses condolences on passing of former Jordan FA President Sheikh Sultan

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa has expressed his condolences on the passing of Sheikh Sultan Al Adwan, the President of Jordan's Al Faisaly club.

Shaikh Salman paid tribute to the immense efforts of Sheikh Sultan, the former Jordan FA President, as a player and manager. He passed away on Saturday.

“Sheikh Sultan was a role model for sports leaders in Asia, because of his hard work, continuous efforts and his support of fair play.

"His passing is a great loss to the Asian football family, but his journey in football will remain as an example for everyone who seeks success in football management,” said the AFC President.

Shaikh Salman expressed his condolences to Jordan FA president HRH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, to Al Faisaly club vice president Baker Sultan Al Adwan, the club and family and friends of Sheikh Sultan.
