The Al-Sadd football first team will travel to Tehran on Sunday, ahead of the upcoming AFC Champions League semifinal second leg clash with Persepolis.

The match will be played at the Azadi Stadium on Tuesday, October 23. Persepolis won the first leg 1-0 in Doha, courtesy an 86th minute penalty.

Meanwhile, the Wolves continued their preparations with another training session at the club’s training facility on Tuesday evening. The players underwent intense physical training before moving on to technical drills and tactical aspects.

The session witnessed the return of defender Ibrahim Majid, who had been missing from action after he picked up a muscle injury in the QNB Stars League Round 3 game against Al-Gharafa.

Ibrahim underwent treatment and recuperation under the supervision of the national team medical staff and then joined the national team camp in Doha before returning to the club for training.
