Al Sailiya signed Brazilian defender Mauricio Ramos for two seasons from Turkey’s Caykor Rizespor.
He signed the contract in the presence of Al Sailiya General Manager Mohammed Ali Al Marri.
Mauricio joined the side after passing his medical at Aspetar. Al Sailiya’s Tunisian coach Sami Trabelsi hopes he can play in their QNB Stars League Week 3 game against Qatar SC on Friday, 17th August.
Meanwhile, Al Sailiya agreed to loan Romanian Valentin Lazar to Al Kharaitiyat until the end of this season.
With the signing of Mauricio, Al Sailiya completed the quota of their foreign professionals. Algerian Nadir Belhadj was retained from last season, while they roped in Moroccan Rachid Tiberkanine from Al Kharaitiyat and Fahd Al Yousuf.
