Al Shahania match is like six points: Al Ahli coach Macala

Published on: 05 October 2018

Al Ahli coach Milan Macala spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Al Shahania.

"All league matches are important and our next game against Al Shahania will be tough for the main reason that they are one place ahead of us in the standings.

“We will continue to miss striker Meshaal Abdulla who is unwell. Abdulrahman Fahmi will not play either because of an injury.

“But I think we have prepared well. I am under pressure, but it is normal in football. We need three points. We cannot be satisfied with our results so far.

“It is a fact that we are not able to stabilise our team composition due to the absences. We keep rotating the players. My priority is to help Al Ahli do well in the QNB Stars League. I will consider my contract after that.

“It’s very crucial that we get three points from this game. I am not unduly worried about our position as we have a lot of games left this season,” said Macala.
