Doha: beIN Media Group, the global sports and entertainment broadcaster and its flagship sports channel beIN Sports is set to host an exciting line up of milestones, matches and exclusive documentaries on its English and Arabic channels across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) – with the 2020 Amir of Qatar Cup final, the opening of the state-of-the-art Al Rayyan Venue and the AFC Champions league final all scheduled on the global sports channel.

beIN Sports will continue its world class coverage of the best sports competitions with the 2020 Amir Cup final and the AFC Champions League final – all set to be hosted in the remarkable city of Doha, the home of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

beIN Sports premium Arabic channel beIN Sports HD1 will dedicate the December 18 to show highlights of previous FIFA World Cup finals and documentaries on the road to Qatar 2022. A special program “The World is Our Stadium” will also be broadcast – dedicated to the unveiling of the 4th 2022 FIFA World Cup stadium. beIN Sports’ News channel will also broadcast the latest news and stories from the Al Rayyan Stadium as well as latest news and reactions from across the country.

Exclusive interviews will also be broadcast on the global sports channel with former players and legends such as Al Rayyan and Qatar national team goalkeeper Younis Ahmad and former Al Rayyan, Al Gharrafa and ex FC Barcelona player Sonny Anderson, among others.

The 48th edition of the Amir Cup will see two Qatari heavyweights Al Arabi and Al Sadd go head-to-head for a chance to win the coveted trophy – as well as a chance to qualify for the 2021 AFC Champions League. 
Previously postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Amir Cup final will take place tomorrow at 19:00 Mecca Time (GMT +3) live on beIN Sports HD11 for English and beIN Sports HD1 for Arabic – with the Arabic studio starting at 17:30 Mecca Time featuring beIN analysts Mohammad Aboutrika and Mubarak Mustafa.
