With speculation rife that a plethora of Real Madrid players could follow Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, the Portuguese star has poured cold water on the idea, insisting that the Bianconeri don’t need them.
Isco, Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio and above all Marcelo have all been linked with transfers to the Allianz Stadium, after Ronaldo made the €100 million move in the summer.
“I see stories about James [Rodriguez], [Gareth] Bale, [Marco] Asensio,” Ronaldo told La Gazzetta dello Sport, “but honestly, Juventus don’t need any other players.
“You have to talk to the president. In the future, I don’t know. Marcelo is great, the doors are open for the great player and Marcelo is one of them.”
