Qatar SC coach Sergio Batista spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Al Kharaitiyat.
“It is a very important match, especially since the situation of the two teams is difficult and a victory can make a turnaround in the fortunes of both teams. All our preparations in the past days had revolved around the technical and psychological aspects of the players. Every game we play is like a final.
“The players must understand the importance of the game and its sensitivity. We have to forget what has happened and look towards the future and the players should not play under any pressure.
“I asked the players to concentrate on this game. I am very happy with the enthusiasm and desire of all players especially during the last training session. Only some technical changes are needed to be made. We are looking forward to three points.
“I followed Al Kharaitiyat’s last match against Al Gharafa. It is an organised team and the players are great. They have some strong players such as Anwar Diba, Jugurtha Hamroun and Mohammed Razak. So we have our some plans in place in order to achieve a victory,” said Batista.
