The FA always run at a loss after Black Stars friendly matches – Osei Palmer

A member of the management committee of the Black Stars, Wilfred Osei Palmer has disclosed the Ghana Football Association always run at a loss after Black Stars friendly matches.

The Black Stars takes on the Russian national team in Moscow on Tuesday evening in an international FIFA friendly. Many have asked questions if the FA have submitted the contract to sports ministry.

Quizzed on how they managed to seal this deal with the Russian national team, Palmer said, “The truth is that, the FA doesn't have money now and any time we play friendly matches, the FA run at a loss.

“The Russian’s have given us $150.000 with an appearance fee of $5.000 with per diems but regardless of this money, we always run at a loss after friendly matches.”

Asked if the ministry of youth and sports have a copy if the contract, Palmer said, “I can’t really confirm that but to my best of knowledge I know they ministry is having a copy of the contract.”
