Napoli and Inter could be swapping players in the January transfer window, with Partenopei striker Arkadiusz Milik going to the Nerazzurri and midfielder Christian Eriksen heading in the opposite direction.

Biscione centre-forward Romelu Lukaku has been missing due to an abductor muscular injury and Coach Antonio Conte lacks an adequate reserve that can perform the Belgian’s role.

According to Tuttosport, Inter have identified Milik as a potential signing and a transfer to Milan will give the Napoli forward chances to play before the European Championship in 2021.

The Polish international has been frozen out of the Partenopei squad and his contract expires in June 2021. Meanwhile, Eriksen has struggled to adapt to Italian football since joining the Nerazzurri in January so a swap between the two players is feasible.

Although the Danish attacking midfielder remains an option, Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso might prefer a more physical and dynamic midfielder like Matias Vecino or Radja Nainggolan instead.
