New signing Mario Mandzukic trains with Al Duhail SC

Doha, Qatar: Al Duhail SC’s star signing Mario Mandzukic trained for the first time with his new teammates on Monday.

Croatian striker Mandzukic, who joined from Italian giants Juventus, appeared in good spirits as he trained at the club training ground in Duhail.

Mandzukic will join Edmilson Junior and Almoez Ali in Duhail attack to give it a more potent look.

Duhail’s next match is against Qatar SC at Al Gharafa Stadium on Saturday.

Meanwhile, in another boost to Duhail, combative midfielder Assim Madibo is back in training after an ankle surgery.

Madibo trained on Monday for the first time since suffering the injury against Al Shahania in the fifth round of the league.
