1930: the first Piola's goal in Serie A

On 2 November 1930 Silvio Piola scored his first goal in Serie A in Pro Vercelli-Lazio 3-0 at 21'. Piola is still today the best scorer of Serie A, with 274 goals. He played for Pro Vercelli, Lazio, Juventus and Novara.

1995: Parma's historic comeback against Halmstad

On 2 November 1995 Parma qualified for the next round of Cup Winner's Cup thanks to one of the most sensational comebacks made by an Italian Club in the European Cups. The gialloblu, who lost the first leg in Sweden 3-0 against Halmstad, won 4-0 at the "Tardini" thanks to goals from Pippo Inzaghi (2'), Dino Baggio (38'), Stoichkov (53') and own goal by Tommy Andersson (69').
