Pogba challenged to impress

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been challenged to make the most of his opportunity when he starts against Valencia in the Champions League.

France ace Pogba came off the substitutes bench during the 2-2 Premier League draw with Arsenal last Wednesday, before being an unused replacement as Fulham were swept aside 4-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Against Valencia he is going to start and have a fantastic football game to play and to show everybody how good he is.

However, United boss Mourinho says Pogba will definitely start in the Mestalla on Wednesday evening, with the Red Devils having already booked a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The Portuguese told reporters: "Paul can be a fantastic player, he has the potential to be a fantastic player.

"Against Valencia he is going to start and have a fantastic football game to play and to show everybody how good he is."

Meanwhile, striker Romelu Lukaku is determined to try and continue the good work he has done in ending a 12-game run without a goal by finding the net against both Southampton and Fulham.

The Belgium international frontman added: "I think I just need to keep working hard. Me and the manager had good conversations where really he told me what he wanted from me.

"I know from my side I have to do better and I just keep looking forward and improving, trying to add to my game and help the team to win. Now it's all about improving and continuing on a consistent basis."

United can be backed at 12/5 to claim a draw for the third time in four Champions league visits to Valencia, while they are 17/2 to repeat their 1-0 victory of September 2010.
