Al Ahli and Al Rayyan will both be keen to extend their winning streak when they face off in Week 12 of the QNB Stars League on Friday, 9th November. The kick-off is at 17:10 at the Al Ahli Stadium.
Al Rayyan are second in the standings with 21 points at the end of first leg of the tournament. They have six wins, three draws and two defeats against their name. Their goal difference is +2, having scored 12 goals and conceded 10.
The Lions are also on a hat-trick of victories, following their wins over Al Sailiya and Qatar SC in Weeks 10 and 11 respectively.
As far as Al Ahli are concerned, they have 18 points and are placed fifth in the table. They have registered six victories, while losing five games. Their goal difference is 0, after scoring and conceding 20 goals each.
The Brigadiers are on a high and are looking to record their fifth win in a row. They won successively against Al Shahania, Al Arabi, Al Sadd and Al Khor, and are just one point behind fourth-placed Al Sailiya.
So Al Ahli will be more keen to collect full points in their bid to storm into the top four.
Al Rayyan had won by a 2-0 margin when they met in the first leg.
