QORC: Al Sulaiti emerges champion in face-off against Leopard Racing

Qatar's champion rider Saeed Al Sulaiti emerged overall winner in the online face-off between the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) team and Leopard Racing's Luxembourg with his sixth consecutive podium finish yesterday.

The former Moto2 rider and the Qatar Superstock 600 champion, Al Sulaiti won four out of the six races in the online Moto2 series, the fourth edition of the Qatar Online Racing Championship (QORC).

In the series finale, the Qatari champion went down fighting to the pole sitter Dennis Foggia following a thrilling battle. Al Sulaiti's compatriot Saud Al Thani finished third to give QMMF another podium win.

Following six exciting races in the series, Al Sulaiti won the title after taking the lead in the overall standings with 232 points. Al Sulaiti's compatriot Saud Al Thani came in second in the overall tally with 172 points.

Spaniard Marcus Ramirez of Leopard Racing team finished in third spot with a score 154 points ahead of his teammate Denise Fujiya in fourth place with 102 points. In team competitions, Qatari riders collected 617 championship points while Leopard Racing team, the reigning Moto2 world champions, collected 573 points.
