QSL’s Club Licensing Committee meets

The Qatar Stars League’s (QSL) Club Licensing Committee met on 23rd October, 2018, to consider applications from member clubs for AFC licences.

Clubs were assessed in the areas of sporting, infrastructure, personnel, legal, financial and business criteria.

After reviewing the summary of submissions, the Club Licensing Committee agreed to grant AFC licences for the 2019 season to the following clubs:

Al Duhail

Al Gharafa

Al Rayyan

Al Sadd

The applications of Al Shahania and Umm Salal were rejected.

The AFC licenses are valid for one season only, namely 2019.

The Club Licensing Committee extended its thanks to all staff members of the clubs concerned.
