AFC Player of the Year Abdelkarim Hassan was given a warm welcome upon his arrival in Doha on Thursday, after attending the AFC Annual Awards ceremony in Muscat.

Present at the airport to welcome Abdelkarim were Al-Sadd general manager Turki Al-Ali, first team manager Abdullah Al-Breik, first team officer Mohammed Saeed and a number of well-wishers.
“This award is a great motivation for the team during the current phase of matches,” said Al-Breik. “Al-Sadd have a number of excellent players like Abdelkarim and this award will push them to give their best.”
