Al Duhail coach Walid Regragui spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 16 match against Al Shahania.
“We must show fighting spirit and work hard to achieve victory against Al Shahania. Of course, we want to win, but we know that it will not be an easy match.
“In this match, we will get back the services of players, such as Mohammed Muntari, Abdelrahman Mohamed and Abdullah Al Ahraq, but we will miss Mehdi Benatia. (Mario) Mandzukic is a doubtful starter, but our focus is on the players who are with the team now as we seek victory.”
“We are in the last stages of league competition. There is no easy match, because all teams want to win in order to achieve their targets, including those who play to avoid the relegation, such as Al Shahania.
“They are a strong side and we do not expect that they will give us a cakewalk, so we are required to be at the highest level of readiness to get a positive result,” said Regragui.
