Al Gharafa coach Christian Gourcuff spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 19 match against Al Arabi.
“We must show more mental and technical focus if we are to make a turnaround in our fortunes and thus improve the team’s situation.
“Our players are required to bring out all their experience and technical expertise in order to achieve a positive result, especially at this stage of the league competition.
“The Al Arabi team has changed a lot of late. The arrival of a new coach and players has really transformed them. We are ready to face them.
“We have been looking for balance in the team since the beginning of the season, but we suffered from a lot of absences and we are still at the receiving end. I hope some players will be back to action soon.
“We have been under pressure right from the start of this season. We have the desire to make a strong comeback,” said Gourcuff.
