EXCLUSIVE: Mauritius call-up Ispwich Town star for Ghana AFCON qualifier

Minnows Mauritius have called-up Ispwich Town player Kevin Bru for their 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana next month.

Bru's club confirmed the call-up on Thursday on their official website on Thursday.

Although born in Paris, the 27-year-old qualifies to play for Mauritius through his parents and his brother Jonathan is skipper of the national team.

The former france U-19 player will to face the group leaders, Ghana on June 5 on home soil, with Mauritius joint second in their qualifying section alongside Rwanda.

Ghana, who beat Mauritius 7-1 in the first meeting between the teams, top the table with three wins and a draw from their four games.
