The Al-Sadd football first team concluded their preparations for the upcoming AFC Champions League semifinal clash with Persepolis, after holding the final training session on Monday evening at the club’s training facility.
The semifinal first leg is set to kick off at 6:15 PM on Tuesday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Monday’s final session saw the coaching staff imlpement physical training and some light technical drills, in addition to having a practice mini game between the players.
After the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man matchday squad for the game. The squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Khoukhi Boualem, Tareq Salman, Baghdad Bounedjah, Pedro Miguel, Xavi, Gabi, Jung Woo-young, Hamid Ismail, Akram Afif, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ali Asad, Hassan Al-Haydos, Salem Al-Hajri, Ahmed Sayyar, Hamza Al-Sanhaji, Musab Kheder.
Later, the squad left for a closed camp at the Westin Doha Hotel, where they will stay overnight before leaving for the game on Tuesday evening.
