Qatar Stars League club Al Khor signed Laurent Banide as new coach on Tuesday.
The Frenchman took over from compatriot Jean Fernandez, who joined rival side Al Gharafa on the same day.
Banide is not new to Qatar, having managed Umm Salal and Al Kharaitiyat.
“I’m very happy to return to the QSL and start a new challenge with Khor,” said Banide.
“The club’s targets became clear to me during my negotiations with the management. My immediate task is to make them a competent unit,” said Banide, a former Monaco coach.
