Al-Sadd’s Algerian marksman Baghdad Bounedjah took his goals tally to 26 in the QNB Stars League after netting a hat-trick in a 8-1 win over Al-Gharafa on Sunday evening.
This means that Bounedjah is just one goal away from equalling former Al-Gharafa striker Clemerson’s record of 27 goals in a QSL season.
Meanwhile, the Al-Sadd first team players were given a day off from training on Monday. The team is now scheduled to return to training on Tuesday, to begin preparations for the next game against Al-Shahaniya in Round 15.
