Al Rayyan players continued their individual training at their homes, as per the training programmes designed by the team’s technical staff led by Uruguayan Diego Aguirre and fitness coach, in order to maintain their physical fitness ahead of the return of action.

A number of Al Rayyan players are also training at the club taking precautionary measures to avoid the risks of coronavirus (Covid-19).

The technical staff set a plan for the players who perform their training at the club, as the number does not exceed five players in each session and safe distance (three metres) is kept between each player.

Aguirre is keenly monitoring the fitness levels of all players via electronic devices.

Meanwhile, three Al Rayyan players - Khaled Muftah, Mohammed Juma and Franck Kom - resumed training after recovering from their injuries.

Al Rayyan players also participated in the awareness campaign to provide advice and guidance to the fans of their club and Qatar football in general, exhorting them to maintain their safety by staying at their homes until the risks of coronavirus are over.

Most notable among them was Algerian star Yacine Brahimi.
